Artist Statement

With 700,000+ suicides occurring annually, Bloom holds immense potential for healing. The character ‘Razum’ was born from a profound question: "Why did my dad do it? What inside of him made him take his own life?" Within this work, invaluable tools are embedded, and accessible to all.

Despite being on the verge of relapse after years of sobriety, she encountered "Razum" and instantly recognized that it wasn't her.
