"Bloom is the story of a young woman's struggle with her mental health, inspired by the author's journey of winning her own battle after witnessing her father lose his by suicide, Bloom aims to shed light on the universal human experience and raise awareness for the importance of mental health, to promote important conversations and change lives.

Inspired by her father's tragic suicide, Stephanie Michelle created the character ‘Razum’, the personification of the mind, in her award-nominated screenplay Bloom. Through the captivating story of Rose, an aspiring actress who goes after her dreams despite constantly being derailed by the inner critic, Bloom illuminates the universal struggle with the inner voice that tries to sabotage our lives. Bloom inspires us to transcend limitations and achieve our greatness, reminding us which voice truly matters.

We have a deep understanding of the profound grief experienced by those who have lost a loved one to suicide or addiction. As a heartfelt tribute, we will have a dedicated credits page in the film to honor and remember those who have passed away due to suicide or addiction.
